I think the NCAA places a cap at 30 regular season games with

a loophole that teams can play more than 30 games during the regular season because teams are allowed to play 2 regular season tournaments each year. Given that VT has 10 slots to fill for its non-conference schedule and 1 of those slots may be designated for the ACC-Big Ten Challenge (not sure if anything will develop with the ACC-Atlantic 10 Challenge), then it will be interesting to see what VT will do with those 8 or 9 slots. Any suggestions on what pattern VT may decide to use with future schedules?
